SpamTermino
  SpamTermino is the finest solution that eradicates all undesirable and dangerous e-mails. SpamTermino is installed between the Internet and your mail server. Each incoming email is passed through a variety of checks conducted by SpamTermino to detect spam generated by spammers using various techniques.

There are some limitations of these tests which allow up to 1% of the spam emails to be delivered to the users’ mailboxes. These spam emails are new variants of spam created which are not detected by the tests. However, new checks are developed regularly to block the latest spam. No doubt the success rate of SpamTermino is so high.

Quarantine
 

Each email is passed through a variety of checks and spam messages are separated from the legitimate messages. The messages detected as spam are then placed in quarantine and legitimate messages are delivered to Users’ mailboxes. The user can access the quarantined messages from the User Interface at Mail.SpamTermino.com. The login credentials are the same as the POP3 user name and password.

The Quarantine Area allows the user to force delivery of a legitimate message which may be wrongly classified as spam, analyze the reason why the messages got blocked or also ask for an analysis of an email which he/she thinks has been wrongly classified as spam.

The User can also set the frequency of the delivery of Quarantine Reports; modify the action to be taken for the spam messages or change the Subject Tag of the emails classified as spam. The User can also add email users in white list so that the emails sent by those users are delivered directly to the mailboxes instead of being checked by SpamTermino.

False Positives
 
A False Positive is a legitimate email which is wrongly classified as spam. No Antispam software can be without a false positive and to avoid legitimate emails from being lost, SpamTermino places all emails classified as spam into the Quarantine Area so that such emails can be forcefully delivered to the mailbox. (). Clicking this image will force the message to the inbox. The User can also send such emails to the administrators for analysis so that the necessary modifications are done in the system to avoid such emails from being blocked again. (). Clicking this image will send the particular email for analysis to the administrator. SpamTermino
also allows the user to check the reason why the message was classified as spam. (). Clicking this image will show the report of that particular email.

 

 

SpamTermino also send periodic reports to the users. The report contains the list of the messages trapped in the Quarantine Area of SpamTermino and contains a link to force the email for delivery in each email. The report contains the list of messages in the following way

The user may force the message for delivery which he/she finds to be wrongly marked as spam.

 


False Negatives
  SpamTermino A False Negative is a spam that has been classified as a legitimate email and delivered to the user’s mailbox. The user may either delete the email from the mailbox or send the email to the administrators for further analysis. It is recommended to send the email for analysis as it will help the administrators to prevent such emails from being slipped from SpamTermino in future.

The User can send the email to the Administrators at analyze@SpamTermino.com. The best way to send the email is to forward it as an attachment or Resend the email.

 
To forward the email from Outlook Express, you may follow the procedure given below.
Open Outlook Express
Select the message from the Inbox and open it.
Select Forward as Attachment from the message menu.
Enter analyze@SpamTermino.com in the To address and click on Send.
 
To resend the email from MS Outlook, follow the steps given below.
Open MS Outlook
Select the message from the inbox and open it.
Select Resend this message from the Action Menu
You may get a warning that you do not appear to be the original sender of the message. Click on Yes.
 
Replace the address in the To address with analyze@SpamTermino.com and send the message.
